Walter Rosenblum in WWII

“They Fight with Cameras”—
Walter Rosenblum in WWII

Join the Columbia Alumni Association of Italy for the inauguration of the exhibition, “They Fought with Cameras: Walter Rosenblum in World War II from D-Day to Dachau.”

The evening will begin with a screening of the short film “In Search of Pitt Street” with the filmmakers, and an aperitivo to follow.

The exhibition includes still photographs and memorabilia documenting Rosenblum’s war experiences from D-Day to the liberation of Dachau and victory in Europe, including the iconic photograph D Day Rescue, which is still very much in use whenever this historic day is recalled.
