V&A Dundee, Edinburgh, Scotland
The London Columbia Alumni Association graciously invites CAA Italy to join them for an exclusive tour of the new V&A Dundee Museum in Scotland, led by Maurizio Mucciola (GSAPP ‘07). Maurizio is a director at PiM.studio Architects and was the project architect in charge of delivering the building together with Kengo Kuma & Associates. The project has already won a number of prizes, including a RIBA National Award 2019.
In the first half of our visit, Maurizio will take us on a guided tour of the interiors and exteriors of the building, offering us a unique insight into the construction and design process. The museum will also be hosting a temporary exhibition, “Hello, Robot”, highlighting the influence of robots on our lives, which you can visit at your option once the group tours conclude.
CAA London has arranged for lunch at The Tatha Bar & Kitchen.
There will also be a dinner on the Saturday evening at the historic inn, Doric, for alumni based in Scotland and those coming up for the tour.
