Columbia in Kabul: International Law in Afghanistan

Please join Chantal Grut ’12 CLS Founding Partner, Rosenstock Legal Services, Kabul, for an excursus on practicing law in Afghanistan.  Rosenstock Legal Services, based in Kabul, and also operating globally, has expertise in post-conflict societies and has been awarded Band 1 top rankings in the Chambers & Partners Asia Pacific Guide. Rosenstock Legal Services has successfully mediated cases involving legal systems of the many competing countries with interests in Afghanistan, as well as regional rule. The company recently assisted in the establishment of a multi-lingual database for codifying Afghan law, in conjunction with Kabul University. Grut’s experience in arbitration, business registration, company licensing, tax law, and contractual matters will be presented to CAA Italy alumni, in the intimate setting of a Roman home. Special guests with deep knowledge of Afghanistan will be invited.  www.rosenstocklegal.com
