The vineyards at Venetian Hills® are facing south along the gentle slopes of the hills of Maser where the soil is excellent and the location is the sunniest. Each type of vine has been careful chosen to express it’s best in relation to the soil, climate and sun exposure. Generations of men and women have cultivated this land handing down their traditions and experience to us so that we can be the present custodians of a culture and heritage that has been here for centuries. All of us who work at our vineyard are proud of continuing this spirit and to offer you the beauty and joy of our land in a sparkling glass.

Discover and share the secret of our luxurious Prosecco from the heart of the Colli Asolani near the ancient Roman city of Asolo (Acelum).  The Romans called this area “Venetorum montes” and started the tradition of wine making in this region. Our vineyards, about 700 ft. above sea level overlooking the Venetian plain, are kissed by the sun and caressed by the breezes of the Adriatic Sea.

VENETIAN HILLS®

OUR LAND

HERITAGE

HARMONY

The vineyard estate rests upon a sloping hillside that has fertile soil. These soil deposits were a result of the glacier meltwater in the Mindel era. A clay/loamy composition of this land creates a well-drained, porous and iron-rich soil that adds mineral richness to our wines.

The hills of Asolo have always been inhabited even before the time of the Romans. Nevertheless, it was the Venetians that further developed and improved the production of wine. Wine was used for celebrations and guests, starting a tradition that reaches us even today.

Venetian Hills® wines celebrate the very soul of hillside fruit capturing the essence of the vine’s interaction with earth and sun creating a harmonious blend. Our farming is also based on long-term sustainability practices to enhance the quality of the air, soil and water on our estate and the surrounding region.

THE FRUITS of OUR VINEYARD

The hills in the province of Treviso around Asolo are the birthplace of premium selected grapes that owe their characteristics to a soil with enriched minerals. These aromatic grapes are harmonious and add structure to the wines which makes them unique and unmistakable. Prosecco is a product of excellence from the hand picked grapes of Glera, Perera and other native white grapes from the hills of Asolo. Temperature controlled vinification and subsequent sparkling wine production using the Charmat/Martinotti method enhances the bouquet of aromas and the refined taste of the wine.
