Imara Ruffo di Calabria, designer, will take us on a walking tour of some of Rome's finest jewelers.  We will chat with gem experts, survey technical masterpiece, and get a glimpse into one of Rome's historic trades.  Imara will take us to Rome's premiere venues for high jewelry, at an easy pace, to allow for conversation and exchange.   Imara is an accomplished jewelry designer herself, and an expert in pearls.  Her august family routes have led her to be familiar with the world of high jewelry since always — were Italy a Kingdom, our Roman artist would be Queen of Calabria! This easy familiarity with high style and a world-wide base of contacts should make for an exciting and interesting tour in Rome's historic center.   We close the visit with an aperitif at a private venue especially hosting our CAA group.  Limited to 12; Columbia alumni only.  Photo:  Paris Bermudes
